Magdy R. Hussein Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Magdy R. Hussein has played a key role in creating larger revenue in capital expenditure for The Shreveport Club


SHREVEPORT, LA, June 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Magdy R. Hussein, General Manager, Chief Executive Officer of The Shreveport Club, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administrative operations.

With 14 years of professional experience, Mr. Hussein specializes in communication and member retention. His responsibilities entail overseeing operations, interviewing new members, managing the dining room and setting up business meetings. After obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering from Cairo University in 1976, he attained his Master's Degree in Textile Engineering from New York University in 1987. Prior to attaining his position with The Shreveport Club, he gained experience working at New York City restaurants, Colonial Country Club and The Country Club of Little Rock. A member of the Club Managers Association of America and the Engineering Society of Egypt, he attributes his success to his family's support. In the future, he intends to further his education and participate in industry-related conferences.

Since 1945, The Shreveport Club has served as a private social club, offering social activities for its members and guests. Some of their events include movies, brunches and dinners. The club has increased by nine percent since Mr. Hussein has been placed in the chief executive officer position.
