Bercy Village offers a programme of open-air musical entertainment for local residents and Paris visitors.

Taking place every Tuesday and Thursday up to August 31st, the performances are organised in partnership with the World Music association and the Satellit Cafe.

As the French capital's leading world music venue, the Satellit Cafe plays a prominent role in organising the district's popular entertainment programme.

Situated in the 12th arrondissement, Bercy Village is an urban centre offering many popular shops and restaurants that have been converted from the area's 19th century wine warehouses.

The free open-air concerts attract many people from Paris hotels to the village during the summer months, with each night based on a different style of music.

Everything from jazz, folk and bossa nova is represented, meaning there should be something for everyone to enjoy.

After the music, visitors can enjoy a drink in the Satellit Cafe or head to one of Bercy Village's highly-rated restaurants for an evening meal.

For those who like to go dancing, the Satellit plays music late into the night on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.

The club night is open from 23:00 local time and revellers will be charged a fee of EUR12 (GBP9.90), which includes two drinks.
