A leading specialty pet store in Columbus, Ohio, Moochie & Co., announced the winner of its "Bad Pet!" contest, a Facebook contest for people to share their worst pet stories and win $100 to Moochie & Co.

COLUMBUS, OH, December 21, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Speciality pet store, Moochie & Co., announced the winner of its viral contest that gave a $100 gift card to the person who had the best bad pet story. Courtney Koehn, a senior at Ohio State University, is the lucky winner who posted a story about her cockapoo, Griffin. Participants, like Koehn, entered the viral contest via the Moochie & Co. Facebook page - where they shared their best "Bad Pet!" story. People could vote for the best story posted on the site, and Moochie & Co. determined the winner based on what story earned the most "Likes."

Koehn shared the story of when her dog, Griffin was a bad dog and pulled dirty, and embarassing, items out of the trashcan. Despite 16 entries on the Facebook page, the story about the bad cockapoo stood out among the rest. "Griffin is always getting in to some kind of trouble," Koehn said. "It was so disgusting the night he came running in to the family room with dirty items from the trashcan, but I'm glad he earned me $100 to Moochie!"

Thanks to her "Bad Pet!" story, Koehn earned a $100 gift card to Moochie & Co. She plans to use the money on Griffin's Christmas gifts, and on her mom, who keeps the dog when Koehn is away at OSU.
