BuzzGrub Puts Out the Call for Contributors
Internet news and blogging site seeks to acquire writers, photojournalists and videographers to contribute their skills and talent to build a new online community
ATLANTA, GA, May 03, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Soon-to-launch Internet news source BuzzGrub is accepting submissions to become one of the site's contributors. Users will have the ability to write for the site by either reporting the news or commenting on world and local events; or they can contribute videos and photographs that communicate compelling stories to the site's readership.
Writers will be contributing to BuzzGrub in two ways. Either as bloggers who function as the op-ed writers -- expressing their opinions and viewpoints on whichever topics currently matters most to them -- or as reporters who limit themselves to the facts: the who, what, where and when of a story. Anyone who can shape words into interesting stories about news and events that is of particular interest to the public is welcome to join the site.
As an extension of BuzzGrub's print coverage, the site will also offer visual based stories as either still photographs or videos. The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words has become the guiding principle of the Internet age. A Photojournalist captures the truth of a story in one image, one shot, and then distributes that image through the web to reach people nearly instantaneously. Each submitted image embodies the essence of the event, and conveys the emotion of a story in a way words can never capture. BuzzGrub video journalists do the same but with unfiltered moving images and sound to show the story in its rawest form.
Anyone who wishes to play a part in the creation of a new online community that values qualified citizen reporting should navigate to http://www.buzzgrub.com/ to join.
