Ms. Leighton has 40 years of ministry experience during which she has developed an expertise in world religions and working with religious groups. She attributes her success to her strong beliefs. Ms. Leighton proudly serves as a member of United Church of Religious Science, Theosophy and Unity in Diversity.

In 1976, Ms. Leighton was ordained by Unity in Diversity Centers in Los Angeles, California. She authored a book in 2005 entitled, "The Endless River: Spirituality throughout Time."
